Pam issued us with a challenge to create some kind of background/focal image using scoring in any way, shape or form. I don't have any fancy scoring tools so I just scored a few simple lines on this card front.

Papertrey Princesses Challenge #3
Here is my first attempt at colouring in a stamped image. Think I still prefer paper piecing. Thanks for the challenge Michele. It really got me to try something that's just 'not me'.
After I'd finished this card, I realised it fit the criteria for Lisa's first Poppy Seed Challenge too.

Waltzingmouse Blog Hop

I am so excited about this hop. Love Claire's stamps and really looking forward to everyone's projects. I have two projects to share. Both of these projects have been inspired by members of the WM Design Team.
First up is this little flower pot box. Saw this on Julia Aston's blog and have wanted to make this for quite some time. I used the gorgeous 'scroll' from Very Vintage Labels No 5 and two of the flowers from Say it with Style. Say it with Style was my first WM stamp set. I actually won it when Claire had her first stamp release competition and I have been hooked on WM stamps ever since.
Next up is this Tussie Mussie. Have seen these on quite a few blogs and just love them. Searched for a template but to no avail. Found lots of instrustions but no templates. So I got brave and just went about it in my own fashion. Once again Julia has one posted on her blog, also found inspiration from Anabelle and Becca.
Used one of the frame stamps from Very Vintage Labels No 1 and the flower stamps from Say it with Style.
Bonnie posted a tutorial for a gorgeous tag. Used this idea for the tag on my tussie mussie.
The 'ornament' hanging from the bottom of the tussie mussie is inspired by a tutorial that Betsy Veldman did for Christmas ornaments.
Karolyn is next on the blog hop. Enjoy the rest of the 'journey'. If you have lost your way or would like to go back to the beginning please go here.

Paint By Number Sketch
Oh these PTI celebrations have been so much fun. This colour palette was quite challenging for me. Still not convinced I pulled it off.

Emboss Resist Technique
I love the look of this technique and was finally pushed to give it a go. Nichole Heady issued a challenge to make a project using any form of the emboss resist technique.
I stamped the 'damask border' with Top Boss embossing stamp pad on white CS and heat set with clear embossing powder. I then rubbed over the image with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink.

Papertrey Princesses Challenge #2

We all have our favourite templates that we turn to time and again.
The challenge this time is to try something that's new to you, something that you haven't made before. So, create a 3D project using a template or design your own.
As an added challenge, decide on what you're putting into your 'box' and use that as inspiration for your project eg. colours, patterns, textures etc.
Here is my Twist Top Box that I saw on Becca Feeken's blog.
