PTI 6th Anniversary - Pinterest Inspiration

The challenge is to create some type of wrap, tag or gift packaging project that is inspired by a photo you found on Pinterest or another site.

PTI 6th Anniversary - Favourite project

It's time for PTI's 6th Anniversary celebrations. The first challenge is to create a new project that is inspired by one of the Design Team Favorites projects.

I love what Danielle did with the hexagons. Would love to try this with some other colours too. I used Lavender Moon CS and bitty dot paper for this card.

MIM #100 - Packaging cards with oversized embellishments

Time to try out another MIM. Hope to participate in more of these challenges this year.

The banner strip on my card hangs over the edges of the card and the flower is a bit bulky as it is popped up with dimensionals. I made the packaging using a large envelope which I cut down a bit and I embellished the envelope using the same elements I had used on the card. I got the idea for the envelope here.

Here is my take on this week's sketch. I used one of the stamps from PTI's Guidelines and the sentiment is from PTI's 2012 Birthday Tags.

WMS Blog Waltz - January 2013 - Love

Used the Candy Wagon as a 'florist' stall and stamped a garden of hearts.
The sentiment is compiled from different sets and says "All my love grown jes' fer you".

Happy 50th - Chalkboard Art

Today is my husband's 50th birthday. I used the 'Chalkboard Art' technique to make his card.
Betsy Veldman does such a great tutorial here.

Christmas is Coming

Over at A Passion for Papertrey blog the latest challenge is a Christmas one.
I made a little gift box using the PTI pillow box die and made a matching mini card.
