PTI Blog Hop - April 2013 and Dynamic Duos #49

This month's challenge was to tilt something on your project. This really was a challenge for me as I like things all straight and lined up. I used Script Alphabet (lowercase) dies and Modern Alphabet (uppercase) dies for the sentiment and I used Fancy Flourishes stamp set for the background flourish which I embossed in silver. I would also like to enter this this card in this week's Dynamic Duos challenge.

Muse Challenge #14

Muse is one of my favourite challenges on the net and I love to see the different ways crafters are inspired by the guest designer's project.
This week's muse is lovely Virginia Lu. I used the layout of her card as inspiration.
I tried the letterpress look with this card.

Fusion Challenge

This card is for the first Fusion challenge.
Got my inspiration from the sketch and the colours in the photo. Such a fun, new challenge. Looking forward to what each week will bring.

Muse Challenge #9

I check out the Muse blog every week and finally got to play along this week. So much inspiration...the stripes, colours and white embossing.  I used water colouring pencils for my stripes. I loved the layout of Kim's card, here, so I used that for my card too.

Two Challenges

 

 

Looked around the challenge blogs for some inspiration and found two challenges that gave me a helping hand. My mojo has been MIA for a while now.
Case this sketch #19 is a great sketch with many possibilities and the challenge on "Less is More" this week is to "Frame It".

PTI 6th Anniversary - Watercolour Challenge

Here is today's challenge:

Tried the technique Betsy used on her card here. Embossed the image in white and then stamped over it with "watered down" distress inks.

MIM #103 and PTI 6th Anniversary - Sketch Challenge

The challenge is to create a project using one of the sketches provided.

 

I also used the MIM diecut double up technique on this card but I replaced the butterfly in the negative space after I had embossed it.
