Raspberry suite colour challenge Week 2

Love this week's colours. Had to give it a go.

Had to dig through my stash to find all my leftover bits and pieces and was happy with what I found. However, this photo does not do the card much justice. The colours are so much brighter IRL. Took quite a few photos but this was the best of a bad bunch. Thanks Dawn for the inspiration.

March Blog Hop

This was the first time I have ever stamped my own background paper but I had a lot of fun playing with my stamps.

Here is the patterned paper I made using Simply Stationery and Around and About Sentiments stamp sets.
Only used a small piece of the PP on the card.

Just love Papertrey Ink. Their stamps are awesome and the design team come up with the most amazing ideas. Lauren Meader designs their Timeless Templates and they are so versatile. Made a gift for a colleague using the Desk Top Organizer template.

February Blog Hop

Found a template for this basket on Prima Hybrid. Had to make an Easter project as Spring is a long way off for us. We are experiencing the cool, crisp signs of Autumn.

Friends 'til the end challenge

My best friend emigrated to Canada 8 years ago. Miss her so much. Thank goodness for modern technology that allows us to keep in touch so easily. However, good old fashioned snail mail is still the most exciting. Always feels good to receive a letter/card in the post. This card is for you, Debs. Keep an eye on the mailbox.
