Papertrey Ink May Blog Hop Challenge

This month's challenge was to use felt on/for our projects. I chose to use felt for the title of my scrapbook page. I do not have any PTI felt yet but I did use other PTI products on my LO. I used All Star Team stamp set and the large scallop border die.

South Africa is getting ready to host the 2010 Soccer World Cup so there is great excitement here and so many flags flying everywhere. Our family had a little "photo shoot" with all our world cup gear and I used some of those photos for this LO.

WMS Blog Waltz - May

I love 3D projects so I used the free Teabag Baggie template for my project. Used stamps from Vintage Circles and Say it with Style for the focal point. This little bag is not only for teabags, but just the right size for a little tube of handcream, some lip balm etc.

This challenge was issued by Bethie J. We had to try something new. I have seen so many cards where a 'cloud background' has been used and I had to give it a try too.

WMS Sketch Challenge

Papertrey Princesses Challenge - CASE it

ETA: This is a close up of the photo on the LO - shows the face painting clearly. We went to an "African" restaurant to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday last year and they have ladies going around painting the patrons' faces with African designs.

At last I have got to do this challenge that was issued by Cheryl. I had to CASE Mara and I knew immediately that it would have to be a scrapbook page. Mara's LO's are always so stunning. I haven't scrapped in ages and I was really so glad for this opportunity. I love scrapping! I chose this LO to CASE. Thanks for the inspiration Mara.

I used quite a lot of PTI on the LO. Made the patterned paper using Background Basics - Tin Type. Used Fresh Alphabet for part of the title. Couldn't resist using some tissue paper for the ruffle and then I used the large scallop die for the scallop.

I really need a new camera. Mine must be at least 10 years old. This LO looks so much better IRL.
