I used this lovely sketch from Freshly Made Sketches to make this card. Embossed the medallion image with white EP and then 'smooshed' with Distress Inks.

PTI Blog Hop - November 2015

This month's PTI blog hop is about all of the fun nontraditional color schemes, like the one in the inspiration photo above. Silver, Hawaiian Shores, Tropical Teal and Simply Chartreuse are what we see! All against pops of bright, crisp white! Use this inspiration pieces as a jumping point for your next project, which could be holiday or non-holiday. 

 My inspiration came from the framed mirror and deer head.

Such pretty colours to work with this week at ColourQ.
While thinking about this challenge, I was inspired by the pattern on a tissue box.

So I got to work on my card and this is what I came up with:

PTI Blog Hop - October 2015

The challenge for this month's blog hop is to create a project inspired by the photo.

I straight away thought of Christmas... so I made a Christmas card. I used quite a few stamps from different sets to make this card. I used the smallest bloom from 'Christmas Poinsettia', one flourish from 'Fancy Flourishes', another flourish from 'Holiday Photo Finishers' and the sentiment from 'Think Big Favorites #20'. I just love traditional Christmas colours!

I also made this gift card holder which I CASEd from Claire Daly.

Masculine with a touch of sparkle

Made this masculine card with a touch of glitter to add some sparkle. Entering this card in two challenges:

Always helps to have a sketch and know the colours to use.

The colours are much paler and closer to the CTD colours IRL...they brightened up when I touched up with Photoshop.
