I used the pattern strip and the sentiment from "Say it with Style" which I embossed in gold. I cut the feather with my Sihouette.

This week at Less is More we have a gorgeous picture for inspiration. I used this week's sketch at the Fusion challenge blog for my card.

PTI Blog Hop - July 2013

The challenge this month is to use one of the "Fruits of Summer" colour schemes. I chose the above colour scheme to work with:

I am also entering this card into the Simon Says Wednesday challenge where the theme is Summer Food and/drink and the Addicted to CAS challenge where the code word is "GLITTER". I added a strip of glitter to the side panel.

Silhouette sketch

Such an informative video on the Silhouette blog. I used the sketch and the inspiration from the video to complete this layout.
I cut a stencil with the silhouette and then used it to add texture paste to the page. I cut the journaling from the background page and then backed it with some lilac cardstock. The title was also cut with the Silhouette.

Less is More - Handmade Flowers

The theme at "Less is More" challenge blog this week is handmade flowers.
I have been playing around with my Silhouette and have found so many great cut files around. The flower is a cut file from Bird's Cards.
