Colour Throwdown #321
I haven't joined in with a Colour Throwdown Challenge in quite a while but this week's colours were just so lovely I was inspired to make a card. Have been making so many Christmas cards that it felt good to make a Birthday card instead.
The Card Concept - Make a Tag
I made this tag with two challenges in mind:
The Card Concept - Challenge #24 where I feel my tag fits in with the 'clean and layered' style and Addicted to CAS - Challenge #53 where the background patterned paper has dots.

PTI Blog Hop - November 2014
The theme for this month's hop is 'Snow'.
I used some snowflakes from Winter Swirls for the background, which I layered with vellum. Then I used die cuts and stamps from Winter Penguin and adhered them on top of the vellum to create my little winter scene. The sentiment is from Think Big Favorites #20.

This lovely cut file is from Bird's Cards. The bows are really silver but the surrounding colours are reflected in them. The sentiment comes from PTI's Holiday Lights.

Happy Holidays
Made another card for this week's AAA Cards Challenge. Coloured in using distress inks and then spritzed with Perfect Pearls mixed with water.
Sprinkles and Smiles
Inspired by two challenges when coming up with this card:
AAA Cards - watercolours
Addicted to CAS - Stencil
I cut the jar using my Silhouette Cameo then coloured it by swiping it through Spun Sugar distress ink mixed with water. I then swiped Worn Lipstick distress ink on my Tim Holtz Burlap stencil and spritzed it with water and then stamped the jar with the stencil.

AAA Cards #18 - Watercolour
The challenge at AAA cards is to create a card with watercolour techniques.
Jennifer McGuire has so many wonderful watercolour technique videos on her blog. I saw this technique and tried it for my card.

Merry Monday - Wreath
This week's challenge at Merry Monday Christmas challenge is to use a wreath on your card.I really love the traditional Christmas colours but I decided to try a different colour scheme for this week's card. I think the pink and silver look great together and I'm quite happy with how this card turned out...it's also quite easy to mass produce.
Best Wishes
Made this card with two challenges in mind:
AAA Cards - Create with Stencil Style
Colour Throwdown #307

Stamp-a-faire 2014 Meet and Greet
Hi, it's Lee from Johannesburg, South Africa here. So looking forward to the day's events. Always love learning new tricks and techniques. Going to be a bit hectic with the time difference and fitting in all the family activities for the day too. Hoping to participate as much as possible.
This is me and my daughter, Robyn. Still winter here and a very chilly weekend too. My daughter always has to look at my cards and give her opinion, which is always very valid. She is very sporty but also enjoys crafting now and then.

Festive Friday #38
Lovely colours but definitely not my comfort zone for Christmas. I am quite a traditionalist when it comes to all things Christmas. I took quite a literal approach to the inspiration photo and this is what I managed to come up with, with the challenge at Festive Friday.
