Embellish Challenge - Masculine Cards

This is a two-in-one post. LOL.

Part 1:

The Embellish challenge this week is to create a masculine paper craft project using the colour challenge. I am in a CAS mode at the moment. I am finding layering and embellishments overwhelming and prefer a clean look with lots of "white space". I took out my PTI Argyle stamp set for this challenge.

Part 2:

Joy is one of the cardmakers/crafters whose blogs I visit for my daily dose of inspiration. She is hosting a challenge at the moment where you must create a project that honours someone in the crafty world that has inspired you.
There are so many amazing crafters who inspire me each and every day. However, today I am going to be giving a HUGE thanks to Aimes for inspiring me. I love everything about Aimes' work. She has such a knack for putting colours together and her work is clean and elegant. I feel she achieves the perfect balance. I CASEd this card, using the colours from the Embellish challenge.
